Crushed me. This and Pig got the most tears out of me by far this year. You’re in the hands of a master on this one. It needs the 3 hour runtime and rewards the patient viewer. But even then it feels well-paced with so many great performers left and right that it’s far from a slog. Grief and hope are balanced so well. Reverend Toller would be proud.
Would make a great pairing with Columbus. Also Pig. Also Burning.
