MJsays’s review published on Letterboxd:
A book-slamming, head-bashing, throat-slicing, bone-snapping, glass-smashing riot!
Slickly filmed, injected with sly humour, a handful of fresh characters to re-invigorate a well-worn storyline, exquisite set designs and exotic locations, and best of all, mind-blowing fight choreography that would make Tarantino and Tom Cruise weak at the knees.
There’s a whole-hearted sincerity about this franchise that’s hard not to appreciate; it knows what it is, it knows what it wants to be, and then multiplies it by 100.
This really is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for action fans.
Side note: Can we please start a petition to have Best Acting awards for animals at the Oscars? Enough is enough - these super pooches cannot go unappreciated.
Side note #2: Anjelica Houston, please adopt me.
