it’s a great rewatch. footage is more compelling like o could watch lava flow for hours
loses itself trying to supplement the lack of footage of their relationship dynamics, leans into sentiment and easy assumptive ideas of the character of katia and maurice when there’s nothing to really back it up

i love rob, he was so good even in his at times corny lil voice overs. the movie really did a good job of making him both heroic and dramatically angsty. paul dano was unsettling af and every time he screamed i honestly clutched my arms. the cinematography omg it was v good, i loved all the shots of the pov of him on his lil motorcycle. the inclusion of social media i thought was better than most modern films.…
