This film is amazing. It succeeds as a family drama, a tense action, an absurdist comedy and a mind blowing sci-fi all at once and is balances them al so perfectly without feeling like a mess.

This film is absolute nonsense and it fully embraces it. It completely understands it’s insane premise and takes it to its fullest potential, making it easily the best onscreen interpretation of a multiverse and I doubt it I will ever be topped. As much…

They definitely bit off more than they could chew with this film. I liked what this film tried to go far, but it’s clear the negation was to be a grand epic to wrap up the series, but they only had the budget to film a bizarre LARP session in a park. It’s not all bad, the film still has some entertaining and enjoyable moments, but they film really is hindered by its low budget. It’s definitely a lacking finale, but I can’t say it was a disappointing one.

I had previously only seen one other film by Alex Garland that being Annihilation. And from just these two films alone I can say he has mastered suspense filmmaking. His films have such an uncomfortable feel to them that makes you feel your on edge even in scenes where characters are just talking and delivering exposition.

The acting is great, It is a shame that Disney was unable to fully Utilize Oscar Issac and Domhnall Gleeson to their full potential…
