Moneyball 2011
Second time watching this movie since the pandemic started last March. Last time I loved it but thought it was a 4.5/5 that was closer to a 4/5 than a 5/5, but I was wrong! It’s a 5/5 film, folks!
This is perfect. On both occasions, the ending left me weepy and crying pretty heavily. Kerris Dorsey singing “The Show” is one of the more beautiful moments in film that I can ever recall.

Spiral: From the Book of Saw 2021
Honestly… better than I remembered! Not a SAW movie kind of, at all, but at least it was funny and entertaining and a few real actors in it.
Baffling that Chris Rock went to the Lionsgate executives like Debby Ryan and said he wanted to make history and that he wanted to make a SAW movie about police corruption lmaoooo. So insane. Kinda fun movie even if I don’t know how truly good it is!

The Matrix Resurrections 2021
Don’t think I’m being insane when I say this is one of the absolute most wonderful films of the year. Cried four times. A perfect sequel that redefines what a sequel should be, especially considering the IP-hellscape we live in. Perfectly meta. But man, the movie just soars. It’s just delightful.
