Really wish I could have seen this one in 3D but alas, I do not own a 3D TV. And the 3D parts are pretty distracting at times to be honest when watching it in 2D. I'm sure it was a fucking blast though seeing it in theatres in the early 80s.
The movie itself is fine. You know what you're gonna get. There was actually some cool kills that made me squirm and the climax chase may be the best one of the original 3? The problem is the film just takes too long to get into the exciting parts. Wastes too much with the cool 3D tricks and 'humour' that hasn't aged the best.
It's fine. I think a good transition film between the 2nd and the 4th. I wish I could have seen it in a theatre, I think my rating of it would be higher.
Also the chubby dude in it may be the first incel character ever captured on film. Jason should have killed him twice.
