Paul Moga’s review published on Letterboxd:
Two strangers awaken in shackles in a disgusting room with no memory of where they are. Taken against their will by a psychotic new serial killer who delights in teaching his victims lessons in the most brutal ways imaginable. For each of them to survive they will have to play the game.
At this point I have no idea how many of these films exist and quite frankly I don't want to know. This type of film is thoroughly revolting and essentially boils down to torture porn. While I find the imagery disgusting I can admit that the twist and development with the Jigsaw character was pretty unique to the genre and that scores it a middling rating of 3 out of 5 stars. I can only handle this so much.
