    love didn’t exist before this film existed idc what anyone tells me otherwise it literally invented the genre of romcoms

    some new thoughts:
    i love how their love comes when they’re in their 30s, and how this relationship only works if they’re in their 30s. it demonstrates to young viewers that their life isn’t over in their 20s and that that’s okay, that it wasn’t going to work out had it been any sooner.
