Wild Beasts

Wild Beasts ★★★½

Of course it’s reprehensible, a treatise on a PCP-induced loss of innocence, achieved through an utterly corrupting exploitation of underage nudity, animal cruelty and gratuitous sax. There is no moral redemption for an actualised violence of charred corpses and preyed meat, and yet, to my knowledge, this is also the only film in which a herd of elephants commit domestic terrorism - a scene weirdly reminiscent of Die Hard 2.
