Film #7 of Holiday Hoopla II

Although this is set after Episode IX, it is of course riffing on the infamous 1978 Holiday Special. But it is perhaps most interested in revisiting classic moments from the Saga via a time-travelling MacGuffin.

This (plot) device allows an hilariously voiced Rey, and others, to have a vague Christmas Carol style adventure with lots of fan service, inside jokes, and meta fun for the viewers.

If 'The Incredibles' was Pixar making the best unofficial Fantastic Four film then this is Dreamworks making the best unofficial take on the Superman mythos – but with a particular focus on Lex Luthor.

This was my second watch and I still thought it was great. A must see for Superhero film/comic fans. 9/10.
