Film #4 in Woovember

It took me a little while to get into this as it's really quite different from the other MCU films - it's more of a slow-burning epic superhero drama/romance?
It's certainly one of the most ambitious MCU films in terms of scope, themes, concepts, ensemble, and how it might tie in with the various arcs that are suggested by the upcoming MCU films and shows that have already been announced.
However, in trying to fit so much in, it is a very long film and perhaps isn't varied enough in tone and pace to make you forget about the length. I did enjoy the structure but perhaps more could have been done with this - really giving the different time periods, locations, character introductions etc a distinct and separate feel?
As well as enjoying the structure I really liked the story which, despite me having quite recently read both the original and updated comic books, took me by surprise more than once.
I'm intrigued to see how it plays on rewatch and as part of a chronological marathon, as well as what it means for the MCU going forward - starting with those two credit scenes...
