  This is a really good movie and it made me wish I liked wine. Very genuine and endearing. Jesus Christ, Thomas Haden Church plays a fucking idiot in this. Good performance, don't get me wrong, but wow.

  One of those films that gets tight under your skin and lingers with you but only partially for the reasons you're probably expecting. This movie isn't exactly what you might think it is, and that's kind of hard to get into without giving away spoilers. What I can say is that it's an unforgettable debut from Joel Edgerton with great performances, a sharp handle on slow-building tension, and rich character work. A really stressful, even maddening movie but all for the better.
