Ohem’s review published on Letterboxd:
Linus Sandgren went off. Nice to see eye-popping colours in a blockbuster again.
The first half gave me false hopes of, finally, a proper sequel to Casino Royale — with respect to both personal stakes for Bond (which are always more involving than the whole preventing the world from being destroyed cliche) and super fun action — but unfortunately the second gives way to yet another generic villain and a retro 007 plot. Why does Safin have a Persian accent? Makes no sense.
Wright’s Felix Leiter is that dude as always, and Ana De Armas goes absolutely HAM in limited PT, but really disappointing stuff from the rest of the supporting team — not even an attempt by the screenwriters.
