  X has so much more of a re-watchability factor but I love what this adds to Pearl. Awesome score, fun callbacks to X, beautiful colors, fitting transitions, and at the center, Mia Goth doing her thing. What a closing shot.

  Leaving my room in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom or get water, staring into the abyss of a dark hallway, imagining movement, imagining a face, this movie is all of those fears come to life such a fresh interesting idea, really cool idea. 

  It was very effective for me but also I could see why it would be really annoying and boring to someone. It’s a very slow moving static dreamlike nightmare.
