One does not simply watch this film and doesn’t start thinking of La La Land the first minute it starts, which was the core inspiration and is Damien Chazelle’s favorite movie. You can tell by its sweet and sweeping score, bright color palettes and a few plot elements. Besides that, this movie REALLY put me in a good mood. I was also not expecting people to sing the entire movie, and that’s what made this film unique to me. Great job, movie. You made your goal to make me smile :)
