Maxwell Alexander’s review published on Letterboxd:
It's so satisfying when a film actually delivers on the thrills and fun that is advertised!
"Ready or Not" is a bloody good time that knows exactly what it is. It puts the "fun" in dysfunctional family. The pulpy violence is never gratuitous (I was personally laughing at each kill but I'm also strange). Characters acknowledge how ridiculous everything is which adds to a sense of play. Plus you get to see Samara Weaving (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) give an enjoyable horror performance.
If you're still looking for that final summer thrill "Ready or Not" might be for you!
