Maxwell Alexander’s review published on Letterboxd:
I watched a really bad copy of this so I won't do an in depth review until I see something better. But for now:
1. Anthony Hopkins is stellar
2. A strong look at growing old and suffering from dementia
3. Florian Zeller can't escape the stagey nature of his play. Effective tricks may be marvelous on stage but feel gimmicky on screen.
4. "Dick Johnson is Dead" is the better 2020 movie with a similar plot
I will revisit this.
