I was having soo much fun in the 1st act man... what happened movie?😕 Not that the rest was bad, it was a little underwhelming compared to the 1st. Felt like the movie couldn't reach those emotional heights it wanted to, or like it could've gone many different ways that were better.

Malignant is James Wan inviting you to experience his most chaotic, no holds barred film, taking you on a wild ride where it's evident that he's simply having fun making this movie.

The film going batshit crazy at one point & the main twist reveal were my favorite parts of the movie. The horror elements & acting by all (except Annabelle Wallis) was meh, & the weirdly placed humor didn't work for me at all. What's generally good is the kinda different approach taken to a concept which is considered a cliché by now.

You need to be in the right mindset to watch this film. It's slow, it takes its time but it never wastes any. The relationship is developed in…
