Absolutely amazing powerful film, lived up to the hype completely. This movie really is EVERYTHING ALL AT ONCE. It’s chaotic, crazy, and always exciting. I adore the way the multiverses were shown as the characters jump across dimensions. I couldn’t get enough of it. And it’s something really special when you have all this chaotic insanity and creativity but it’s not nonsense. It all has meaning. In the middle of all the mind blowing multiverse travel it shows impactful character arcs demonstrated through all the other possible timelines. This is exactly the type of film that I’d love to make someday because it’s always entertaining but really carries something deeper with it.
Maybe one thing I don’t like is the ultimate message. “Nothing matters.” Yeah that’s it. I don’t really like that 🥸 That wasn’t the message I was getting from it in that climax but they still said it.
Whatever still an unbelievable great movie. With all the multiverse hype in Marvel and DC I think this film did something bigger and better than anyone else can do. Best movie of the year for sure.
Also the first R film I’ve seen in theaters
