Ryan Antoch’s review published on Letterboxd:
While not constantly engaging, “aesthetic” is absolutely the word here. Jessica Harper leads with a strong performance, the colors and music were great, and the ending was wrought with tense buildup. My favorite scene was the one where all the girls sleep in the dance room, and the anticipation of what lies behind the red curtain as the only awake people whisper was off the charts. I’m excited to check out the remake soon, this was a really solid nightmare.
