The Holdovers is easily one of the best comedy/drama’s over the last few years. From emotional to funny, heartwarming to heartbreaking, It brings up many life topics, but the levels of affection to each subject matter are perfect, it never over does its perspective, everything comes over naturally and pure with an incredible script, very likeable characters and perfect pacing. It captures the 70s era nicely. The performances are also FANTASTIC. I believe if you love films such as Dead Poets Society, Good Will Hunting, you’ll fall in love with this one.
