Mike’s review published on Letterboxd:
A rare piece where all the actors involved give impeccable performances in miscast roles.
The devil is not always with Antonio Campos’ latest as its deeply rooted misogynistic, scattered script and messy editing diminishes its potential. A dark, sick, tragic, depraved picture.
I really kinda hate scripts like THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME where every character is just going about doing and experiencing evilish stuff with no meaning or nuance whatsoever. Scattered stories that are only connected via coincidence and lame events with terribly frustrating results. At least I was never bored so that counts for something.
