I would have normally never even watched this, probably down to me not even knowing of this movies existence, but I am very glad that I watched it and that I watched it the way I did together with a very special person. Truely an unforgettable time, mid movie though.

Unbelievable that it took me two years, five other Johnnie To films and three rewatches of this particular movie to realise that Johnnie To not only is the best director working today, but regarding the entire history of cinema as a whole is one of the greatest directors of all time if not THE greatest there is.
To put it bluntly this film is as good as it gets, and I thoroughly believe that it is incapable of ever being surpassed in the entire existence of this medium.
