Loved this! I was already predisposed to love it because of Noomi Rapace but still, this exceeded all expectations. It’s as if Tommy Wirkola tapped back into a bit of the madness he used when he made the Dead Snow films. There are no zombies but the Nazis do have slight representation.

It's part comedy, thriller, action, drama and horror. The tonal shifts might turn some people off but I found it worked to keep catching me off guard. I’m laughing my ass off one minute totally unprepared for the horror around the corner.

That’s not just with the horror but also with the marital problems between Lars (Aksel Hennie) and Lisa (Noomi Rapace). They’ll have fights saying horrible things to each other that are hilarious one minute, then one of the will drop a bomb and say something incredibly hurtful that just flips the scene on it’s head.

Loved the ride.
