It's campy, and I'm not a fan of the silly vampire shrouds, but it's fairly true to the original story. Also, Carmilla has a substantial kill count in this one.

Modern iteration of Carmilla. Good cast, great gothic setting, and incorporates the suicide elements from the book in a interesting way.

Carmilla kicks things off here by turning her Satan worshipping descendant into a vampire, then she’s never seen again. Presumably a prequel to ‘The Vampire Lovers’.

Carmilla is relegated to ‘Bride of Dracula’, which is just disrespectful. She predates Dracula, if anything he should be her bitch. The movie itself is pretty decent though.

The only reason this movie ranks this high is because they have such a good Carmilla and Laura.

This is pretty much the best of the really bad Carmilla movies. They only get worse from here.

I’m breaking my own list rule by including this as the character Carmilla does not appear in the movie. Also, if you have to have a rape scene in your movie, ffs, don’t make it voyeuristic.

Terrible movie, but a dude gets his dick shot off by a tiny crossbow, so that’s something.
