Less like film as a painting, and more like film as a fucking museum. Every scene is an entire gallery, laced with impeccable masterpieces. Each scene, each gallery has the masterful score, the masterful performances, masterful writing, masterful production design, costume design, cinematography, masterful DDL hair. It comes together to create feeling, a feeling that one would have strolling through a museum, taking everything in, it's all there to be admired. And it entirely re-invented the word 'fuck'. Fucking CHIC?
