This is a tricky one, I don’t mind this film but man it was so boring with Finn and Rose. The best bit is obviously towards the end and Luke dying made me tear up. I’m not opposed to Luke’s change of character, it’s different and kinda of makes sense as he wasn’t really ready for the evil that was set out ahead for Kylo Ren. However, it’s just sad to see Mark Hamill be upset about the change of Luke and how the actor himself didn’t feel like it was Luke. I think it would of been better for the fans if they had Luke to come back and redeem himself but idk. This movie also had a lot of things where in the moment it kinda is dumb and annoying and then when revealed it was just so convenient. Such as heavily hinting that Kylo & Rey could be related then just conveniently Snoke was the puppeteer and also Yoda destroying the Jedi stuff only to later find Rey had took them anyways. It kinda gives you this false sense of reality and idk I didn’t really like that.
The last bit is just amazing though, such good action and very emotional.
