The Holy Mountain

The Holy Mountain

I don't know if I can give this film an honest rating. On one hand I view this film as pure thematic imagery conveyed in the most pretentious nonsensical fashion. And on the other hand, I feel that this film strives from the ultimate vision of a mind of genius, being the most perfect art-house film, conveyed in the most sensical way, using every frame within its medium to portray its messages, while breaking every rule in the book. The thought that this film was even made blows my mind.

The visuals and imagery of this film are burned into my retinas and I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Basically this film makes no sense but yet the most sense all at the same time.

Jodorowsky. You are without a doubt one of the most creatively insane filmmakers I've ever seen.
