Jonathan Majors is terrifyingly sexy as Kang. He dominates the screen with a huge presence. Scott’s humor is top tier as usual and the chemistry between Rudd and Majors is incredible! A strong start to phase 5 for sure. The post Credit scenes leave you excited for what the rest of phase 5 and Kang’s future hold.

    Sharper

    ★★★★½

Sharper exceeded my expectations! Sebastian blows it out of the water as usual. The chemistry between him and Julianne especially adds an extra touch of pizzaz and elevated the entire movie. I think this cast works well together and is very, very talented! I will be seeing this again soon!

It’s a bit slow to start but quickly gains traction! This is easily one of Janelle Monae’s best performances yet!! The plot twists and turns and keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire way. Daniel Craig is hilarious as Benoit Blanc. This movie truly beats the “sequels never live up to the first film” allegations.

Absolutely moving tribute to Chadwick and his legacy. The visuals and the moment of silence during the intro were so touching. A beautiful and evenly paced storyline easily makes this the best project to come out of phase 4 for me. Excited to see where we go from here.

  • Black Adam

    Black Adam

    ★★★★

Dwayne Johnson makes an incredible Black Adam. I think this is (in my opinion) one of DC’s better movies. The cast works in tandem and the chemistry makes this movie a fun time. It solidifies The Rock as a more serious actor instead of the comedic one he usually is.

  • The Woman King

    The Woman King

    ★★★★★

Good God, Viola Davis is a force to be reckoned with. She delivers a showstopping performance as usual. Make no mistake, Lashana, Sheila, Thuso and John all deliver powerful performances as well. Moving together in a beautiful way, The Woman King tells the story of an all woman group of warriors.

It’s a powerful reminder, especially to dark skin women of just how powerful they can be. This movie shows you a whole new world and I can see the…

  • The Gray Man

    The Gray Man

    ★★★★★

Chris Evans shines as an unhinged gun for hire. He’s snarky, brutal and all around fun. The Russo’s bring high intensity action in a way that was meant to be viewed on a big screen. Dhanush (with very few scenes) was a breakout star in this film, he shines bright and holds his own amongst the other actors. From beginning to end, the Gray Man is just an enjoyable thrill ride that has you on the edge of your seat. It’s funny, it’s twisted, it’s ruthless, it’s intense. It’s easily on my list of top 5 movies in 2022 so far.
