Murray’s review published on Letterboxd:
A pretentious mish-mash of pointless 'art' which I felt in no way compelled to watch. I may have found the accordion scenario quite enjoyable but considering it lasts no more than 3 minutes it in no way nearly makes up for the remaining 110 minutes of pure madness.
The two stars I have given to the film are similar to the two stars given by others, the sheer commitment of Denis Lavant in the demanding role of Mr. Oscar., and the breathtaking dark and gloomy cinematography of Paris, as Mr Oscar is driven around the city in his limousine.
If one day I have any spare time I may award this with a re-watch, but until then I will not understand the critical praise for this piece of ambiguous garbage.
