Muscala’s review published on Letterboxd:
Essentially delivers everything I wanted out of a Knives Out sequel but not quite as magical as the first one. Most importantly Daniel Craig is back as Benoit Blanc and delivers more of the completely ridiculous line readings and monologues that my friends and I have been quoting since the character's debut. Rian Johnson seems to have a gift for getting an ensemble cast to have the time of their lives with Edward Norton, Kathryn Hahn, Dave Bautista, and Kate Hudson REALLY making the most of it. Whodunnits are always incredibly satisfying and, without spoiling anything, this is absolutely a success on that front. Some people found the political references in Knives Out a little clunky and I could see the same criticism here (it is very specific to covid) but I think it's so funny that it pulls it off with relative ease.
