Kathryn Newton is just perfect
Some reviews for this described it as "the kidz bop version of Palm Springs" or if "John Green made Palm Springs", but I gotta say, this movie definitely deserves better than that. Kyle Allen and Kathryn Newton are cute together, and they are both great here. I've never seen Ian Samuels' first movie and probably never will, but his direction here and Lev Grossman's screenplay are very confident. I love in these time loop movies when the characters have lived the day multiple times and they start memorizing stuff that happens each time and they start doing cool shit, this movie really uses that idea to its advantage.
Charming movie that I'd watch again. Check it out on Prime video.
