Citizen Kino’s review published on Letterboxd:
The ultimate Wes Anderson diorama.
This time around, I was struck by the sadness of the actual story. There's so much quirk and hyper-stylization that adorns the margins and can distract the eye (in the best possible way). But the central arc of Gustave and Zero is actually quite sorrowful.
Incredibly stacked cast, maybe the most recognizable faces in a non-blockbuster modern film.
