Spider-Man: Far from Home

Spider-Man: Far from Home ★★★★

Spider-Man: Far from Home is an absolute blast, it's fast-paced,action-packed funny, and isn't without it's moments of heart. If you were worried that this wouldn't be on the same level as Homecoming, fear not as Jon Watts hasn't missed a beat. One of the key aspects that I really enjoyed in Homecoming was the film focus on Peter Parker's struggle to try to maintain having a normal high-school life and life as a superhero and that subject plays a just as big of a part here as it did in Homecoming. It really does make the film seem like a coming-of-age film, it made you feel that asking out MJ is just as big of a deal as stopping the big bad. Tom Holland is once again perfect as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and after seeing this film I can confidently say that he's my favorite Spider-Man. Jake Gyllenhaal almost steals the entire movie as Mysterio and delivers such a memorable performance. I honestly had such a great time with Far From Home, there's some jokes that really miss and I do feel like Cobie Smulders and Jacob Batalon were a bit wasted, but pushing that aside this is a really fun time!
