Nathan’s review published on Letterboxd:
I was expecting a more cut and dry story of a young Viking seeking revenge for his father’s murder. Some of the supernatural elements in this movie threw me off. It all tied together pretty well, but I think it would’ve been better if realism was a more focused point in the story telling. I’d like to have seen more of protagonist’s struggles growing up as an orphan to make final battle scene that much sweeter. All in all not a bad epic of the Viking genre.
