Time and time again do I find myself thinking of Ari Aster films immediately after watching them. MidSommar is no exception here!!!.
With it’s flawless story flow to its main character being a powerhouse....Herditary really wasn’t a fluke.
Plugh really excelled in this and I can a very bright future for her as an actress after being in 2 knockout films this year. She really pushed her boundary’s as an actress in this and I won’t go into any details as I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it but bloody hell shes amazing.
The whole tone and feel of the film had me on edge more than once and I always feel uncomfortable watching Aster films hence why I always come back for more.
I can’t even begin to explain some of the absolutely drawdropping cinematography in this and camera angles used, it’s genuinely my wet dream when a director utilises the camera the way it was designed for.
One last thing....
HAPPY MIDSOMMAR 🌞🙏🏻
