  I don’t historically love the guardians of the galaxy and I think James Gunn is just ok, but I found this to be a huge step up! (especially from Volume 2) 
  They took their time with a story worth telling, which is a much better use of the long runtime than just filling it with more side quests. 

  (Speaking of taking their time, the special effects actually looked finished lol)
