    Four Lions

    ★★★★★

Probably one of the hardest comedies to describe, Four Lions was a British film made in the simpler time of 2010 (and has unfortunately become all too timely following many real-life bombings). And what did I think?

I didn’t expect a film with this subject matter to actually be funny but here we are.

The small cast all do a good job as the worlds most inept jihadists. Riz Ahmed (Rogue One, The Night Of) plays Omar, whose about the…

    The Wolf of Wall Street

    ★★★★★

Because I figured I’d sat on my movie watchlist for too long without watching anything, I decided to watch The Wolf of Wall Street in it’s entirety for the first time, which chronicles the unbelievable and depraved rise and fall of Jordan Belfort.

    Snow White and the Huntsman

    ★★★★★

Today I decided to start checking off a watchlist and decided to view Snow White and the Huntsman for the first time, the 2012 dark fantasy retelling of the fable of Snow White. And what did I think?

I actually was genuinely surprised by how good it was.

To start off we've actually got a very talented cast. Initially an odd choice for the titular role, Kristen Stewart does a good job. Shaking off her thankless role in Twilight, Stewart…
