Neeka B’s review published on Letterboxd:
1. a very aesthetic™ war film, that while perhaps more "realistic" than the 1930 version, doesn't have the same amount of heart and humanity.
2. this felt weirdly like a slasher movie? a group of teens we barely know anything about, gets killed in increasingly bloody and horrific ways
3. this book seems difficult to adapt
4. I was interested to know what the German consensus was about this, and apparently, German critics hated it.
