For East Asia, watch a South Korean, Japanese, or Chinese film.
I usually write my reviews basically right after watching, but I needed a bit of time to think about this one.
It’s allusive and enigmatic and none of the “enigmas” ever get fully resolved by the end. It’s slow but gracefully uneasy so even though parts are technically dull, it’s always propelling forward in a very interesting way.
I wish that I had watched this movie in the theater with a friend, so we could go grab coffee and then discuss the details.
