The Nice Guys 2016 ★★★★½

(Forgive me if this review is at all incoherent, as I'm still a bit drunk. )

Man oh man what a fun fucking film. Shane Black seriously needs to stay away from the franchises (Iron Man 3) and stick to original films. He kills it when he makes neo-noir comedies. This is pretty much on par with Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang and actually almost surpassed it. Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling are simultaneously explosive and subtle in their performances. This is definitely one film I'll want to revist multiple times in the future. I also think this would make an awesome double-feature paired with Inherent Vice.
