    “Why return to the City of God, where God forgets about you?”

    That was .. A LOT. This was a truly a fascinating film, the rawness and the humanity of it really got me invested. Probably one of the best structured narrative films i’ve watched, extremely violent yet beautiful. An infinite cycle of power struggles, poverty, violence on display. The cops involvement....very very interesting! 

    Anyway be like benny & rocket. Good vibes only.

    I find it very scary how much i related to this. The movie is a slow burner but in all that we get beautiful calming visuals that you take that you take in simultaneously as the main character, an unorthodox yet calming daily routine Memo takes up but i’m sure many of us stuck in suburbs would love that right about now. Not many grown people in our contemporary society are equipped to show or express their feelings and emotions.…
