Jojo Rabbit successfully balances Taika's textbook acerbic wit with immense charm & heart. Darkly hysterical and heartbreaking too - I laughed and I cried. Giacchino turns in a whimsical score. There's a couple of broad moments where humour falls flat, but otherwise I loved it.
