Ian West’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Mansion in the Woods. There’s a goat pit in this, Samara Weaving is rock solid, and I haven’t seen Henry Czerny in a movie since his incredible run of playing scumbags in 90’s political thrillers—but overall I dunno… it was fast past and there was some fun moments but this lands in that realm of most dangerous game survival horror or whatever you wanna call it, which more often than not lands in the genre setups that I personally get bored with very fast. We all have ‘em, for many of you that’s A24 stuff, but stuff like this and the current post apocalyptic zombie stuff influenced by the walking dead/28 days later are mine.
