Atonement.
A study of regret and contemplation. The final western from the man who helped redefined the genre sees him in deconstruction mode and pulverizing it for a modern audience. From the moment Will hits the bottle again till the end is some of the most impeccable, timeless storytelling that I’ve ever seen.
