Thich Nhat Hanh Solo’s review published on Letterboxd:
Man, I did not expect to love this movie one tenth of what I do, or that it would be as sweet as it is, but I do and it is and I'm very thankful I was on mushrooms for my first viewing.
This has become my favorite Will Farrell comedy the way that The Wedding Singer has been my favorite Adam Sandler comedy (Punchdrunk Love doesn't count; that's a PTA film).
If you're feeling whimsical and in the mood for something light and sweet, I highly recommend this movie. It has a ton of heart, and while the jokes don't always land, there ones that do are pretty hilarious.
Also, the trailer really doesn't do the movie any favors.
