Matt Neglia’s review published on Letterboxd:
WHEN YOU FINISH SAVING THE WORLD is Jesse Eisenberg’s directorial debut about a mother & son who are failing to connect through any of their interests or beliefs. And I too failed to connect with them and the movie as a whole. Eisenberg lacks a cohesive vision in my opinion. There’s fine work from Wolfhard & Moore even though I couldn’t stand their characters. At least there’s another pleasing Emilie Mosseri score though!
