I believe this is the first Gaspar Noé film I've seen. And I kinda need to see the others too now, even if I don't particularly want to. I can't even recommend this one to most people, even though it was quite good.
Climax is... unusual (= fucked up), in style and from what I've read: production. Apparently there was almost no script besides the concept, a lot was improvised. A lot of the actors had no previous acting experience, they were dancers. I saw almost no evidence of the former, but plenty of the latter. The first dance scene was something special. There were some impressive long takes besides the dance scenes too.
Usually I watch movies for the stories, but the seemingly nonexistent story didn't bother me this time. It's interesting to just see things unfold.
