Wild at Heart

Wild at Heart ★★★½

Did I ever tell you that this here jacket represents a symbol of my individuality and my belief in personal freedom?

My second David Lynch film! Still haven't really ventured into his surrealist side. But more importantly, I guess I'm starting that Nicolas Cage marathon now: 20 Nic Cage movies in a row, no others in between. How does that sound? Not sure how long it's gonna take, and whether it's gonna make me hate or love him. Or make me stop watching films altogether?

Wild at Heart was an obvious choice after The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, those seen it know why.

Surprisingly brutal film, this one. I think Cage makes it better, he fits in this kinda stuff with that larger than life acting style. Has he toned it down quite a bit lately?
