Nathan Spencer’s review published on Letterboxd:
For the first time in a long time, I’m left almost entirely speechless on what I just experienced. This is a truly ethereal experience that I was not expecting. Double Life contemplates and dramatizes thoughts of duality and existentialism; exploring them through a warmly lit intimate mosaic of music and motion. Irene Jacob is ravishing here, giving a performance so layered and rich it might go down as my favorite ever. Kieślowski was a true wunderkind and this is his opus.
